This order may be cited as the Protection of Animals (Anaesthetics) Act 1954 (Amendment) Order 1982 and shall come into operation on 1st January 1983.

The Protection of Animals (Anaesthetics) Act 1954 (Amendment) Order 1982
In paragraph 6 of the First Schedule to the Protection of Animals (Anaesthetics) Act 1954 (which specifies the ages before which the castration of certain male animals may be carried out without the use of an anaesthetic) for the words “3 months” appearing opposite the word “bull” there shall be substituted the words “2 months” .
