Section 1 Citation and commencement

These regulations may be cited as the Medicines (Renewal Applications for Licences and Certificates) Amendment Regulations 1982 and shall come into operation on 10th January 1983.

Section 2 Amendment of the Medicines (Renewal Applications for Licences and Certificates) Regulations 1974

(1) Regulation 4 of the Medicines (Renewal Applications for Licences and Certificates) Regulations 1974 (particulars to be contained in or to accompany renewal applications) shall be amended in accordance with the following provisions of this regulation.

(2) In paragraph (1) of the said regulation 4—

(a) sub-paragraph (a) shall be omitted; and

(b) in sub-paragraph (b):—

(i) the word “other” shall be omitted; and

(ii) for the words “that Schedule” there shall be substituted the words “the Schedule to these regulations” .
