The London Cab Order 1982

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the London Cab Order 1982 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1982.

Section 2

The London Cab Order 1934 shall be amended by omitting the following provisions:—

(a) in paragraph 11 (fees for horse cab licences), sub-paragraph (1)(a) and, in sub-paragraph (2), the words “and the receipt for the payment of the fee as aforesaid” ;

(b) in paragraph 12(2) (certificate of Public Carriage Examiner), the words “and the receipt (if any) for the payment of the fee mentioned in paragraph 11” ;

(c) in paragraph 13 (refusal of certificate by Public Carriage Examiner) the words “and receipt (if any) for the payment of the fee mentioned in paragraph 11” ;

(d) in paragraph 26 (fees for cab drivers' licences), sub-paragraphs (1) and (2);

(e) in Schedule C (form of cab licence), the words from “A receipt for the payment” to “produced to me” .
