The Isles of Scilly (Functions) Order 1982

Section 1

This order may be cited as the Isles of Scilly (Functions) Order 1982 and shall come into operation on 14th June 1982.

Section 2

The Council of the Isles of Scilly shall exercise and perform the functions conferred or imposed on the councils of non-metropolitan counties by—

section 7(4) of the Family Law Reform Act 1969 ;

section 44(1) of the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973 ;

section 2(2)(a) of the Guardianship Act 1973 ; and

section 12(3) of the Domestic Proceedings and Magistrates' Courts Act 1978.
