Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Protection of Trading Interests (US Reexport Control) Order 1982 and shall come into operation on 1st July 1982.

Section 2

The Secretary of State hereby directs that section 1 of the 1980 Act shall apply to the measures referred to in the following Article.

Section 3

The measures to which this Order relates are those provisions of parts 374, 376, 379, 385 and 399 of the Export Administration Regulations, as amended , made by the United States Secretary of Commerce under the powers conferred on him by the United States Export Administration Act 1979 which affect the re-export or export of goods from the United Kingdom.
