Section 1
(1) This order may be cited as the Wildlife and Countryside (Isles of Scilly) Order 1983, and shall come into operation on 5th May 1983.
(2) In this order, “ the Isles ” means the Isles of Scilly.

The Wildlife and Countryside (Isles of Scilly) Order 1983
Section 2
The provisions of Part II and Part III of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 shall apply to the Isles as if those Isles were a separate county.
Section 3
The said provisions shall apply with the modification that for any reference therein to a county council, county planning authority, local authority or local planning authority there shall be substituted a reference to the Council of the Isles.
