Section 1
This order may be cited as the Non-metropolitan and Welsh Counties (Local Statutory Provisions) Order 1983 and shall come into operation on 21st May 1983.

Section 2
The date on which all local statutory provisions applying to the whole or any part of a non-metropolitan or Welsh county, so far as they so apply, are to cease to have effect is hereby effect is hereby postponed to 31st December 1986.
