Section 1

This order may be cited as the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980 (Commencement No. 9) Order 1984 and shall come into operation on 24th October 1984.

Section 2

Part X of the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980 shall come into operation on 24th October 1984 in the areas of the district councils in Wales in which the said Part X is not already in operation.
