Section 1Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) This Scheme may be cited as the Personal Injuries (Civilians) Amendment (No. 2) Scheme 1984 and shall come into operation on 29th November 1984.

(2) In this Scheme the expression “ the principal Scheme ” means the Personal Injuries (Civilians) Scheme 1983 .

Section 2Amendment of Article 16 of the principal Scheme

In Article 16 of the principal Scheme (severe disablement occupational allowance) for the words “non-contributory invalidity pension” there shall be substituted the words “severe disablement allowance” .
