This Order may be cited as the Dentists Act 1984 (Commencement) Order 1984.

The Dentists Act 1984 (Commencement) Order 1984
Section 2Appointed day
(1) The day appointed for the coming into operation of any provision of the Dentists Act 1984 specified in column (1) of Part I of the Schedule to this Order which relates to the matters specified in relation to that provision in column (2) thereof shall be 1st January 1985.
(2) The day appointed for the coming into operation of any provision of that Act specified in column (1) of Part II of the Schedule to this Order which relates to the matters specified in column (2) thereof so far as that provision relates to proceedings before the Health Committee of the General Dental Council or to any direction or order given or made by that Committee shall be 1st January 1985.
