Section 1
(1) This Order may be cited as the Telecommunications Act 1984 (Appointed Day) ( No. 2) Order 1984.
(2) In this Order, “ the Act ” means the Telecommunications Act 1984.

The Telecommunications Act 1984 (Appointed Day) (No.2) Order 1984
Section 2
The provisions of the Act specified in the first column of Schedule 1 to this Order (which relate to the matters specified in the second column of that Schedule) shall come into force on 16th July 1984.
Section 3
The day appointed for the purposes of Parts II to IV of the Act shall be 5th August 1984.
Section 4
The provisions of the Act specified in the first column of Schedule 2 to this Order (which relate to the matters specified in the second column of that Schedule) shall come into force on 5th August 1984.
Section 5
The day appointed for the purposes of Part V of the Act shall be 6th August 1984.
