Section 1

These Regulations shall come into operation on 2nd March 1985 and may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Designation of Approval Marks) (Amendment) Regulations 1985.

Section 2

The Motor Vehicles (Designation of Approval Marks) Regulations 1979 shall be amended so as to have effect in accordance with the following provisions of these Regulations.

Section 3

In Schedule 2—

(a) after item 13C insert items 13D and 13E as specified in the Schedule to these Regulations;

(b) after item 31D insert items 31E to 31I as specified in the Schedule to these Regulations; and

(c) after item 50A insert item 54 as specified in the Schedule to these Regulations.

Section 4

In Schedule 3, in paragraph 6, for “31A and 31D” substitute “31A, 31D, 31E, 31F and 31I” .
