Section 1
These Regulations may be cited as the Police Cadets (Amendment) Regulations 1985, and shall come into operation on 1st March 1985.

Section 2
In paragraph (5) of Regulation 5 of the Police Cadets Regulations 1979 (which requires the chief officer to afford to a police cadet a personal interview with a senior officer before his services can be terminated) for the words “the deputy chief constable” there shall be substituted the words “a deputy chief constable” .
