Section 1

The relevant appointed day for the purposes of section 16(1) of the Medicines Act 1968 as that sub-section has effect by virtue of Article 3 of the Medicines (Control of Substances for Manufacture) Order 1985 in relation to the substances specified by paragraph (1) of that Article shall be 15th October 1985.

Section 2

This order may be cited as the Medicines (Control of Substances for Manufacture) (Appointed Day) Order 1985.
