Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Sex Discrimination Code of Practice Order 1985 and shall come into operation on 30th April 1985.

Section 2Code of Practice
The code of practice for the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of sex and marriage and the promotion of equality of opportunity in employment, to be issued by the Commission in April 1985 under subsections (1) and (7) of section 56A of the Act in the form of the draft laid before Parliament on 29th January 1985, shall come into effect on 30th April 1985.
