Section 1Title, commencement and extent
(1) This order may be cited as the Smoke Control Areas (Exempted Fireplaces) (Amendment) Order 1985 and shall come into operation on 9th July 1985.
(2) This order shall extend to England and Wales.

Section 2Amendment of the Smoke Control Areas (Exempted Fireplaces) Order 1984
The Schedule to the Smoke Control Areas (Exempted Fireplaces) Order 1984 shall be amended:—
(a) by substituting “List No. 1048/June '83 8402” for “List No. 1084/June '83 8402” , and
(b) by adding the classes of fireplace and the manufacturers' instructions mentioned in the Schedule hereto.
