The Poisons (Amendment) Rules 1986

Section 1

These Rules may be cited as the Poisons (Amendment) Rules 1986 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1986.

Section 2

(1) The Poisons Rules 1982 shall be amended in accordance with the following provisions of this Rule.

(2) In Schedule 1, after the item beginning with the word “Lead” there shall be inserted the item “Magnesium phosphide” .

(3) In Schedule 4, in Group II , in the entry in the second column relating to the phosphorus compound dichlorvos there shall be added at the end the words “; ready for use liquid preparations containing not more than one per cent., weight in volume, of dichlorvos” .
