The Civil Courts (Amendment No.2) Order 1986

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Civil Courts (Amendment No. 2) Order 1986 and shall come into operation on 1st October 1986.

Section 2

A district registry of the High Court shall be established at Basingstoke, which district shall be defined by reference to the district of the Basingstoke County Court.

Section 3

A district registry of the High Court shall be established at Milton Keynes, which district shall be defined by reference to the districts of the Aylesbury and Milton Keynes County Courts.

Section 4

For the purposes of section 96(2) of the Bankruptcy Act 1914 and of section 512(4) of the Companies Act 1985 the Milton Keynes County Court shall not be excluded from having jurisdiction under those Acts.

Section 5

The amendments set out in the schedule to this Order shall be made to the Civil Courts Order 1983 , being amendments that are consequential upon the Civil Courts (Amendment) Order 1986 and the foregoing provisions of this Order.
