The Non-metropolitan and Welsh Counties (Local Statutory Provisions) Order 1986

Section 1

This order may be cited as the Non-metropolitan and Welsh Counties (Local Statutory Provisions) Order 1986 and shall come into operation on 31st December 1986.

Section 2

(1) The date on which all local statutory provisions applying to the whole or part of the local government areas specified below, so far as those provisions so apply, are to cease to have effect is hereby postponed to 31st December 1987.

(2) The specified areas are—

(a) in England, the counties of Cleveland and Essex and the cities of Exeter, Plymouth and York; and

(b) in Wales, the counties of Dyfed, Mid-Glamorgan and West Glamorgan.
