Section 1 Title and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Precept Limitation (Passenger Transport Authorities) (Prescribed Maximum) Order 1986 and shall come into operation on 14th February 1986.

Section 2 Interpretation

In this Order—

“ the Act ” means the Rates Act 1984 ; and

“ the maximum precept ” means a maximum amount in the pound for the precept.

Section 3 Prescription of maximum precepts

There is hereby prescribed under section 1 of the Act, for the financial year beginning on 1st April 1986, as the maximum precept for an authority listed in the Schedule to this Order, the amount there set against the name of the authority.
