Section 1
This Order may be cited as the Coal Industry (Limit on Payments in respect of Redundant Mineworkers) Order 1986 and shall come into operation on 30th March 1986.

The Coal Industry (Limit on Payments in respect of Redundant Mineworkers) Order 1986
Section 2
The limit specified in sub-section (5) of section 7 of the Coal Industry Act 1977 on the aggregate amount of the payments made by the Secretary of State under that section during certain financial years is hereby increased from £1,200 million to £1,800 million.
