Section 1

On the operative date:—

(1) Each of the lengths of trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order and shown on the deposited plan by broad striped hatching and the reference letter stated opposite the description in that Schedule shall cease to be a trunk road;

(2) the length of trunk road in respect of which the reference letter C is stated shall become classified as a classified road.

Section 2

In this Order—

(1) all measurements of distance are measured along the route of the relevant highway;

(2)

(i) “classified road”

(ii) “the deposited plan”

(iii) “the new trunk road”

(iv) “the Trunk Road”

(v) “the operative date”

Section 3

This Order shall come into force on 26th June 1987 and may be cited as the A52 Nottingham—West of Grantham Trunk Road (Bottesford Bypass) Detrunking Order 1987.

Section 1

A point near Orston Grange approximately 535 metres south-west of the entrance to Highfield Farm, and the point where the boundary dividing the Countries of Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire crosses the Trunk Road.

Section 2

The point where the boundary dividing the Counties of Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire crosses the Trunk Road and the south-west of the junction of the Trunk Road with Bowbridge Lane, Bottesford.

Section 3

The south-west of the junction of the Trunk Road with Bowbridge Lane and a point approximately 658 metres west of Church Lane, Muston.
