Section 1 Citation and commencement

(1) This Order may be cited as the Lothian Regional Council (Megget Reservoir etc.) (Amendment) Water Order 1987 and shall come into force on 12th June 1987.

(2) This Order, the South-East of Scotland Water Board (Megget Reservoir etc.) Water Order 1974 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Order”) and the Lothian Regional Council (Megget Reservoir etc.) (Amendment) Water Order 1982 may be cited together as the Lothian Regional Council (Megget Reservoir etc.) Water Orders 1974 to 1987.

Section 2 Amendment of the principal Order

In article 7 of the principal Order the quantities and rates of flow shall be amended in terms of the Schedule to this Order.

Section 3 Amendment of the principal Order

The Lothian Regional Council shall at all times after the expiration of six months from the date on which this Order comes into force keep at the principal office of the Regional Secretary of the Council a copy thereof.
