The Non-Contentious Probate Fees (Amendment) Order 1987

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Non-Contentious Probate Fees (Amendment) Order 1987 and shall come into force on 1st August 1987.

Section 2

For paragraph 1(a) of the Schedule to the Non-Contentious Probate Fees Order 1981 there shall be substituted the following sub-paragraph—

(a) if the assessed value

does not exceed £10,000 No fee

exceeds £10,000 but does not exceed £25,000 40.00

exceeds £25,000 but does not exceed £40,000 80.00

exceeds £40,000 but does not exceed £70,000 150.00

exceeds £70,000 but does not exceed £100,000 2.50 per £1,000

or part thereof

Section 3

The Non-Contentious Probate Fees (Amendment) Order 1983 is hereby revoked.
