This Order may be cited as the Local Government Reorganisation (Property) (Tyne and Wear) Order 1987 and shall come into force on 20th August 1987.

The Local Government Reorganisation (Property) (Tyne and Wear) Order 1987
There shall vest in each local authority mentioned below the property of the Tyne and Wear Residuary Body which is specified in the corresponding Schedule:—
All property of the Tyne and Wear Residuary Body, other than property specified in Schedule 6 to this Order, which was immediately before 1st April 1986 held by the Tyne and Wear County Council for the purposes of its functions relating to highways, shall vest in the council of the district in which it is situated.
Where on 1st April 1986 by virtue of section 263 of the Highways Act 1980 any highway vested in the council of any district within the area of the county of Tyne and Wear, any interest of the Tyne and Wear Residuary Body in any land below such highway shall vest in that council.
All rights and liabilities acquired or incurred by the Tyne and Wear Residuary Body exclusively in connection with any property transferred by this Order shall vest in the local authority to which that property is transferred.

(a) Camperdown Industrial Estate;

(d) George Stephenson Industrial Estate.
Sandy Lane Industrial Estate, Wideopen.
Site of the former engineering works at Coulthards Lane, Saltmeadows.
Brewery Lane Industrial Estate, Felling.
A parcel of land consisting of approximately 2.52 hectares, lying east of Stoneygate Lane, and north of Felling By-pass, Felling.
The following property in Dunston—
(a) Dunston Workshops, Railway Street;
(b) the site of the former flour mill, lying immediately north of the disused railway line at Riverside;
(c) the Pond Site, Wellington Road.
The following property in Pelaw—
(a) Stonehills Offices, Shields Road;
(b) Green Lane Industrial Estate;
(c) Stonehills Industrial Estate.
Holystone Street Industrial Estate, Hebburn.
Bladen Street Industrial Estate, Jarrow.
Blackett Street (Davy Roll) Industrial Site, Jarrow.
Charles Street Workshops, Monkwearmouth.
Sheepfolds Workshops, Hay Street.
Bonnersfield Workshops, Bonnersfield.
A parcel of land consisting of approximately 43 hectares, lying west of North Pit Farm and adjacent to the B1284 road at Rainton Bridge.
Simpson Street Industrial Estate, Deptford.
Hylton Industrial Estate, Riverbank Road, North Hylton.
Hetton Lyons Industrial Estate, Colliery Lane, Hetton-le-Hole.
The Parade, Hendon.
