Section 1

The Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council (M57 Motorway Associated Special Roads) (Huyton Spur) Revocation Scheme 1987 is hereby confirmed.

Section 2

The said Scheme as confirmed (hereinafter referred to as “The Scheme”) is set out in the Schedule hereto and copies of The Scheme, and accompanying plan, are deposited at the Department of Transport, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY, at the offices of the Director (Transport), Departments of the Environment and Transport, North West Region, Sunley Tower, Manchester M1 4BE and at the reception, Knowsley Borough Council, Municipal Buildings, Huyton, and at the reception, Knowsley Borough Council, Municipal Buildings, Kirkby.

Section 3

The Scheme will become operative on the date on which notice that it has been confirmed is first published in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 2 to the Highways Act 1980.

Section 4

This Instrument may be cited as the Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council (M57 Motorway Associated Special Roads) (Huyton Spur) Revocation Scheme 1987 Confirmation Instrument 1987.

Section 1

The Scheme specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked to the extent specified in the second column of that Schedule.

Section 2

This Scheme may be cited as the Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council (M57 Motorway Associated Special Roads) (Huyton Spur) Revocation Scheme 1987.

Section 2

The two routes connecting the southbound and northbound carriageways of the Motorway with a roundabout at Stockbridge Lane, Knowsley (the special roads on these routes being respectively given numbers 1 and 2 on the deposited plan)
