Section 1 Title, commencement and extent

This Order—

(a) may be cited as the Enduring Powers of Attorney (Northern Ireland Consequential Amendment) Order 1987;

(b) shall come into force on the day appointed under Article 1(2) of the Enduring Powers of Attorney (Northern Ireland) Order 1987 for the coming into operation of that Order, and

(c) extends to the whole of the United Kingdom.

Section 2 Amendment of Enduring Powers of Attorney Act 1985

In section 7(3) of the Enduring Powers of Attorney Act 1985 , after the words “under this Act” there shall be inserted the words “or under the Enduring Powers of Attorney (Northern Ireland) Order 1987”.
