Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Debtors (Scotland) Act 1987 (Commencement No.1) Order 1987.

Section 2

The following provisions of the Debtors (Scotland) Act 1987 shall come into force on 2nd November 1987:—

(a) section 75 (Power of Court of Session to make rules in relation to Messengers-at-Arms and Sheriff Officers);

(b) section 76 (Advisory Council on Messengers-at-Arms and Sheriff Officers); and

(c) section 97 (Power of Court of Session to make rules as to representation of parties in Sheriff Court proceedings).
