Section 1

The Bedfordshire County Council (Leighton-Linslade Southern Bypass Yttingaford Bridge) Number Two Scheme 1985 is hereby confirmed without modifications.

Section 2

The said Scheme as confirmed (hereinafter referred to as “the Scheme”) is set out in the Schedule hereto and copies of this Scheme with its accompanying plans are deposited at the offices of the Department of Transport, and at the offices of the County Secretary and Solicitor, Bedfordshire County Council at County Hall, Bedford.

Section 3

The Scheme will come into force on the date on which notice that it has been confirmed is first published in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 2 to the Highways Act 1980.

Section 4

This Instrument may be cited as the Bedfordshire County Council (Leighton-Linslade Southern Bypass Yttingaford Bridge) Number Two Scheme 1985 Confirmation Instrument 1987.

Section 1

The Council are authorised to construct over the navigable waters of the Grand Union Canal the bridge specified in the Schedule to the Scheme as part of the highway which is to be known as the Leighton-Linslade Southern Bypass and which the Council propose to construct between the A418 Wing Road at the top of Wing Hill and the A5 Trunk Road at Thorn Turn passing south of Stanbridge and Tilsworth in the Counties of Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

Section 2

This Scheme may be cited as the Bedfordshire County Council (Leighton-Linslade Southern Bypass Yttingaford Bridge) Number Two Scheme 1985.
