This Order may be cited as the Maximum Number of Judges Order 1987.

The Maximum Number of Judges Order 1987
Section 2
Section 2(1) of the Supreme Court Act 1981, prescribing the maximum number of ordinary judges of the Court of Appeal, as increased by the Maximum Number of Judges Order 1983 , shall be amended so as further to increase the maximum number of those judges to 28.
Section 3
Section 4(1)(e) of the Supreme Court Act 1981, prescribing the maximum number of puisne judges of the High Court, shall be amended so as to increase the maximum number of those judges to 85.
