These Regulations, which may be cited as the Medicines (Pharmacies) (Applications for Registration and Fees) Amendment Regulations 1987, shall come into force on 1st January 1988.

The Medicines (Pharmacies) (Applications for Registration and Fees) Amendment Regulations 1987
Regulation 3 of the Medicines (Pharmacies) (Applications for Registration and Fees) Regulations 1973 shall be amended as follows:—
(a) in paragraph (1) (fee for registration of premises), for “£80” there shall be substituted “£84” and for “£41” there shall be substituted “£43”;
(b) in paragraph (2) (retention fee), for “£50” there shall be substituted “£53” and for “£36.50” there shall be substituted “£38”; and
(c) in paragraph (3) (additional sum by way of penalty), for “£55” there shall be substituted “£100” and for “£39.50” there shall be substituted “£70”.
