Section 1

The County Council of Hampshire (M275 Rudmore Flyover, Portsmouth) Motorway Scheme 1987 is hereby confirmed without modification.

Section 2

The said Scheme as confirmed (hereinafter referred to as “the Scheme”) is set out in the Schedule hereto and copies of the Scheme with its accompanying plan are deposited at the Department of Transport and at the offices of the County Council of Hampshire at The Castle, Winchester, Hampshire, SO23 8UJ.

Section 3

The Scheme will come into force on the date on which notice that it has been confirmed is first published in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 2 to the Highways Act 1980.

Section 4

This Instrument may be cited as the County Council of Hampshire (M275 Rudmore Flyover Portsmouth) Motorway Scheme 1987 Confirmation Instrument 1987.

Section 1

The Council are authorised to provide along the route described in the Schedule to this Scheme a special road for the use of traffic of Classes I and II of the classes of traffic set out in Schedule 4 to the Highways Act 1980.

Section 2

The centre line of the special road is indicated by a heavy black line on the deposited plan.

Section 3

The centre line of the special road may deviate from the centre line shown on the deposited plan by not more than 5 metres on either side of the centre of that line.
