Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Protected Shorthold Tenancies (Rent Registration) Order 1987 and shall come into force on the expiry of the period of ten weeks beginning with the day on which this Order is made.

Section 2

Section 52(1) of the Housing Act 1980 shall have effect as if paragraph (c) of that subsection were omitted.

Section 3

The Protected Shorthold Tenancies (Rent Registration) Order 1981 is hereby revoked.
