Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (Application to Customs and Excise) Order 1987 and shall come into force on 7th April 1987.

Section 2

In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires—

“ the Act ” means the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984;

“the principal Order ” means the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (Application to Customs and Excise) Order 1985 .

Section 3

The following section of the Act shall be added to Schedule 1 to the principal Order (provisions of the Act applied to Customs and Excise)—

“Section 107”.

Section 4

The following equivalent grades shall be added to part 2 of Schedule 2 to the principal Order—
