These regulations may be cited as the National Health Service (General Medical and Pharmaceutical Services) Amendment Regulations 1987 and shall come into force for the purposes of regulation 2(4) on 1st August 1987 and for all other purposes on 1st February 1987.

The National Health Service (General Medical and Pharmaceutical Services) Amendment Regulations 1987
(1) Schedule 3A to the National Health Service (General Medical and Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 1974 (drugs and other substances not to be prescribed for supply under pharmaceutical services) shall be amended in accordance with the following paragraphs of this regulation.
(2) The following entries shall be omitted:—
Fenoprofen Tablets 200mg
Maalox Tablets
Maalox TC Tablets
Progesic Tablets 200 mg.
(3) The following entries shall be inserted at the appropriate point in the alphabetical order:—

Angiers Junior Paracetamol Tablets

Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide Solution 3.75 mg/5 ml
Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide Solution 7.5 mg/5 ml
