The Bermuda (Evidence) Order 1987

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Bermuda (Evidence) Order 1987 and shall come into force on 1st July 1987.

Section 2

Subsections (2), (3) and (4) of section 8 of the Evidence (Proceedings in Other Jurisdictions) Act 1975 and the provisions of Schedule 2 to that Act that relate to the Foreign Tribunals Evidence Act 1856 , the Evidence by Commission Act 1859 , the Extradition Act 1870 , the Evidence by Commission Act 1885 and section 3(1)( b ) of the Arbitration (International Investment Disputes) Act 1966 , as amended in its application to Bermuda , shall extend to Bermuda.
