Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Cycles (Eye Protectors) (Amendment) Regulations 1987 and shall come into force on 1st July 1987.

Section 2

The Motor Cycles (Eye Protectors) Regulations 1985 shall be amended in accordance with the following provisions of these Regulations.

Section 3

In regulation 4, the word “or” shall be deleted after paragraph (b) and inserted after paragraph (c), and the following paragraph shall be added—

(d) he is in the armed forces of the Crown, on duty and wearing an eye protector supplied to him as part of his service equipment.
