Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Wireless Telegraphy (Control of Interference from Citizens' Band Radio Apparatus) (Amendment) Regulations 1988 and shall come into force on 8th August 1988.

Section 2

In these Regulations—

“the principal Regulations ” means the Wireless Telegraphy (Control of Interference from Citizens' Band Radio Apparatus) Regulations 1982 .

Section 3

In regulation 2 of the principal Regulations, for the definition of “relevant specification” there shall be substituted the following definition:—

“relevant specification” means Performance Specification MPT 1321, as amended, published in April 1981.
