Section 1

These Rules may be cited as the Crown Court (Amendment) (No. 2) Rules 1988 and shall come into force on 22nd August 1988.

Section 2

The Crown Court Rules 1982 shall have effect subject to the amendments specified in the Schedule to these Rules.

Section 1

In each of rules 7(2)(b), 7(7)(c) and 8(d) there shall be inserted, in each case after the word “section”, the words “67B or”.

Section 2

In rule 11(2)(b) there shall be inserted after the word “section” in the second place where it occurs the words “67B or”.

Section 3

In rule 12(3) there shall be inserted after the words “section 21” the words “or 67B”.

Section 4

In Schedule 3, in the entries in Parts I and III relating to the Licensing Act 1964 there shall be inserted in the third column (Section or Schedule) in each case after the figure “50” the figure “67B”.
