This Order may be cited as the Reimbursement of Costs (Monetary Limit) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 1st October 1988.

The amount prescribed for the purposes of section 53 of the Administration of Justice Act 1985 (reimbursement of additional costs resulting from death or incapacity of presiding judge etc ) is £8000.
