Section 1

(1) This Order may be cited as the Legal Aid Act 1988 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1988.
(2) The following provisions of the Legal Aid Act 1988 shall come into force on 20th August 1988:—
Section 3(1), (5), (6), (7), (8), (9) and (10),
Schedule 1,
Schedule 7, paragraphs 6, 7 and 8.
