Section 1Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Statutory Water Companies (Occupational Pension Schemes) Regulations 1988 and shall come into force on 1st September 1988.

Section 2Compulsory membership of statutory water company schemes

Section 27 of the Water Act 1973 shall have effect with the omission of subsection (5).
