Section 1Citation and commencement
These Regulations may be cited as the Advice and Assistance (Scotland) (Prospective Cost) Regulations 1988 and shall come into force on 1st August 1988.

Section 2Amendment of financial limit
In section 10(2) of the Legal Aid (Scotland) Act 1986 there is substituted, in place of the sum of £50 therein mentioned, the sum of £60.
