The A523 Derby—Macclesfield—South of Stockport Trunk Road (Macclesfield Relief Road) (Detrunking) Order 1988

Section 1

The length of trunk road described in the schedule hereto, and shown by broad striped hatching on the deposited plan, shall cease to be a trunk road and shall be classified as a principal road as from the date on which the new trunk road is open for through traffic.

Section 2

In this Order—

(a) the measurements of distance are measured along the route of the relevant highway; and

(b)

(i) “the deposited plan”

(ii) “the new trunk road”

(iii) “principal road”

Section 3

This Order shall come into force on 11th October 1988 and may be cited as the A523 Derby—Macclesfield—South of Stockport Trunk Road (Macclesfield Relief Road) (Detrunking) Order 1988.
