Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Housing (Right to Buy) (Priority of Charges) (No. 2) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 27th October 1988.

Section 2 Amendment of 1985 Order

The Housing (Right to Buy) (Priority of Charges) Order 1985 is hereby amended by the substitution for the third item in the list set out in the Schedule thereto, of the following:

(3) London and Manchester (Mortgages) (No. 1) Limited.

Section 3 Approved Lending Institutions

The following bodies are hereby specified as approved lending institutions for the purposes of section 156 of the Housing Act 1985:

(a) Abbey Life Mortgage Finance Limited,

(b) Abbey Life Mortgage Loans Limited,

(c) CIS Mortgage Maker Limited,

(d) London and Manchester (Mortgages) (No. 2) Limited.
