Section 1 Citation and commencement

(1) This Order may be cited as the Rickmansworth Water Company (Repeal of Local Enactments) Order 1988 and shall come into force on the 10th November 1988.

(2) The Rickmansworth Water Acts and Orders 1884 to 1986 and this Order may be cited together as the Rickmansworth Water Acts and Orders 1884 to 1988.

Section 2 Repeal of local enactments

The enactments specified in column (1) of the Schedule to this Order (which enable the Rickmansworth Water Company to abstract defined quantities of water by means of certain pumping stations) are hereby repealed to the extent specified in column (2) thereof.
