Section 1Title and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Cod (Specified Sea Areas) (Prohibition of Fishing) (Variation) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 17th October 1988.

Section 2Variation

The Cod (Specified Sea Areas) (Prohibition of Fishing) Order 1988 is hereby varied by inserting in article 2 thereof (prohibition), after the words “is prohibited” the words “except on and between 17 October and 31 October 1988”.
