This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Fish (Definition of “Infected”) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 10th March 1988.

Section 1Title and commencement
Section 2Amendment of definition of “infected” in Diseases of Fish Act 1937
In the definition of “infected” in section 10(1) of the Diseases of Fish Act 1937 , after the words “furunculosis of salmon,” there shall be inserted the words “gyrodactyliasis caused by Gyrodactylus salaris, ”.
Section 3Revocation
The Diseases of Fish Order 1966 is hereby revoked.
