Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Assured Tenancies (Tenancies at a Low Rent) (Scotland) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 2nd January 1989.

Section 2

For the purposes of paragraph 2 of Schedule 4 to the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988 (tenancies at a low rent), there is specified—

(a) in the case of a tenancy where the rent is payable weekly, a rent of £6 per week; and

(b) in the case of a tenancy where the rent is payable for any other period, a rent calculated for that period at the rate of £6 per week.
