Section 1Citation and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Children and Young Persons (Amendment) Act 1986 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1988.

(2) In this Order “ the Act ” means the Children and Young Persons (Amendment) Act 1986.

Section 2Day specified for the coming into force of section 1 of the Act

Section 1 of the Act (Regulations as to accommodation of children in care) shall come into force on 1st June 1989.
